How much H-pro® to use:

DRY FEED

H-pro® may be added in quantities of 3.5-4% of the feed and completely and partly replace the addition of fish meal in sow feed and piglet feed respectively.

Mixture of larger quantities may be possible all depending on the mixing plant and choice of raw materials. The bigger the quantity of dry and moisture absorbing raw materials, the bigger the quantity of the added mixture may be.

In some countries, H-pro®is added in quantities of 3.5-4% of the feed for slaughterhouse pigs. 2 gr. of fish oil per kilo feed is thereby added to the feed not resulting in any form of taste deterioration.

WET FEED

H-pro® may be added in quantities of 7-10% of the feed and completely replace the use of fish meal, and reduce the quantity of vegetable protein in sow feed and piglet feed.

When using 7-10% H-pro® in wet feed, formic acid is added corresponding to an amount of 1-1.5% of the dry feed part.

Pay attention to the total chloride content of the feed when using large quantities of whey.

H-pro® is easy to store and to handle. No dust and no physical contact.
